affection with the flick of his tail than a man can

Joe Joe
Joe Joe is a very sweet and cuddly Pekingese/Pom mix who loves to be picked up and loved on. He is approx. 1-2 yrs. old and weighs around 10 lbs. He is neutered, current on shots and heartworm negative.

Joe Joe is gentle and gets along with other dogs, but would be quite content as an only dog. His foster mom considers him to be moderate to low maintenance. He is not destructive or a big barker. Some type of fenced yard is preferred. Perhaps he is the perfect family pet you have been looking for?
Adoption fee is $175 which includes all vaccines, heartworm test and spay/neuter.

Sadie
SADIE is a 1 year old female Terrier mix who weighs 14 lbs. She gets along with other dogs, cats and children, and is a real sweetheart. She was dumped out on the back road in the mountains to fend for herself. Fortunately, she found her way to the home of an elderly lady who fed her for a few days. She couldn't keep Sadie but passed her on to our rescuer in Southwest Virginia, who reports that Sadie loves living in a house and is very well behaved.

Sadie surprised us by giving birth to 7 pups on July 12, 2010. The pups will need to stay with their mom until 8 weeks of age.

Adoption fee is $175 which includes all vaccines, heartworm test and spay/neuter.

Tessa aka Baby
Tessa (formerly called Baby) is a 1-2 year old spayed Shih-Tzu who weighs about 14 pounds. She has a great personality and gets along fine with other dogs and people. She also did fine with the lady's toddler grandchild.

Tessa's previous owner had been in and out of the hospital and was unable to take care of her. When we got her, she was so very happy to have a bath and a haircut. She will make a wonderful companion.
Adoption fee is $175 which includes all vaccines, heartworm test and spay/neuter.

Beanie Baby
Beanie Baby is an adorable puggle mix(pug-beagle mix) who weighs about 20 pounds and is about 9 months old. She is friendly with adults, children and other dogs. We haven't had the opportunity to test her with cats. She is fully vetted, lively and affectionate and would make a great family pet. Beanie Baby has been suffering from a case of mange and lost all of her hair. After treatment, her hair is starting to grow back and Beanie will soon be back to her beautiful self.

Adoption fee is $175 which includes all vaccines, heartworm test and spay/neuter.

Tiny-Adopted
Meet Tiny...She is an adorable 8 lb. 7 mo. old Terrier mix. She and her two siblings were abandoned at a barn when they were 3 mo. old. Luckily the owner of the barn found them and nurished them back to health. She is shy when first approached, but warms up and likes to cuddle. More info coming.
Adoption fee is $175 which includes all vaccines, heartworm test and spay/neuter.

Alex
Alex is a playful confident 1-2 year old Schnauzer mix who weighs about 25 pounds. He is alert and obedient . He gets along fine with other dogs and isn't a big barker. At an adoption event Alex was very busy meeting and greeting all the people. Then after all the activity on a very hot day, he flopped down in the shade to take a break. He would make a great family dog.
Adoption fee is $175 which includes all vaccines, heartworm test and spay/neuter.

Abby
Abby is a very sweet, approx. 2-3 yr. old Cairn Terrier mix, who weighs about 15 lbs. She gets along fine with other dogs. Abby is lively and loving and will need a home where she will receive the attention she deserves. She's bright; uses the pet door to go into a gated space, plays with pet toys and cuddles with me and my other two dogs. She had to be taught to walk on a leash and loves going on her walks.
When Abby first came to live with her foster mom she wanted to be the alpha dog and had to be gradually introduced to my dogs. By keeping her on a leash when they came together she needed all of two days to become acclimated. I have a cat who loves spending most of her time outside. Abby's first inclination was to chase her, but now they meet 'nose to nose'.
Abby follows me everywhere in the house and will need a family that will give her the loving attention she deserves. I work during the day. Abby will thrive in a home where she is not left alone during the day and will have the companionship of either dog(s) or humans.

Adoption fee is $175 which includes all vaccines, heartworm test and spay/neuter.
