| Bristol is a 6 year-old miniature schnauzer who was given up because his family no longer had time for him. He is doing wonderfully in foster care! Bristol is housetrained and loves other dogs. He is friendly with everyone, adores car rides, and was raised with 3 small children, making him a perfect family dog. He did playfully chase the cats at his foster home….but learned quickly that cats have claws and now gives them a WIDE berth! Bristol is fun and playful and loves to romp in the woods, but will take any opportunity to snuggle with his people. He really enjoyed walking in the Holiday Parade on the Downtown Mall recently. Because Bristol is a schnauzer, he needs to be regularly groomed, so that his hair does not become matted. He is very good about allowing his foster parents to brush and clip him, and even lets us trim his nails. We would love to see him go to a home where he can receive lots of love and attention, lots of walks and play-time, and another friendly dog or two would be a plus.

| Summer is a loving puggle (pug/beagle mix) who is around 2-3 yrs old and weighs approximately 13lbs. She is doing wonderfully with her crate training and has had very few accidents in the house. She is playful with a moderate activity level. Once exercised Summer becomes a complete lap dog. She gets along well with children and is very friendly with strangers. Although she also gets along with other dogs and will periodically play with them, she is more interested in her human companion than other dogs. She would be an excellent addition to a moderately active family.Summer is a 1-2 yr.old Puggle (Pug/Beagle)

Daffie is an adorable 1 yr. old Belgian Griffon, weighing approx. 8-10 lbs. Daffie is very friendly and loving, loves sleeping on the bed and being petted.
Daffie wants to be everybodys friend. She is great with other dogs, doesn't mind the crate and rides nicely in the car. | Raja is a precious, 2 year old Pomeranian with button eyes, a pretty smile, and a wagging tail. She was taken to a shelter by an elderly woman that could no longer care for her. She’s a delicate little thing in both size (9 pounds) and personality. When Raja first came into foster care she was reserved and stand offish. After 10 days the REAL Raja is starting to emerge. She loves a good lap and soft bed (preferably under the covers), but also loves to run in the woods. She would make someone an excellent agility dog with a little training. She even bravely jumped into a river to follow another dog! She appears to be house trained and crate trained . She ignores cats and plays with her foster dog siblings. She can hold her own with the big dogs, but would probably prefer companions a little closer to her size. She always wants to be in the company of her foster family. Initially she showed a reluctance to being handled but is making great progress in this area too. We suggest she be in a home with older children due to her small size. Her coat is a little rough right now, but with good nutrition, time, and grooming it will be beautiful again. She is spayed, up to date on shots, and heart worm negative. Raja keeps her foster family laughing with her cute Pomeranian antics and will be a devoted member of her new family.”

Milo is a sweet 1 year old Yorkie-Chihuahua mix who weighs about 8-10 lbs. He gets along with everyone, including kids and the foster mom's five dogs. He even let us dress him up for a recent Howl-o-ween event! Milo is a snuggle bug who loves to sleep in bed with his foster mom. He is crated during the day while his foster mom is at work and likes to play when she gets home at night. Milo would love to be in a home with a playmate and preferably a fenced yard. | Beanie Baby is an adorable puggle mix(pug-beagle mix) who weighs about 20 pounds and is about 9 months old. She is friendly with adults, children and other dogs. We haven't had the opportunity to test her with cats. She is fully vetted, lively and affectionate and would make a great family pet.

| Banjo is a Chinese Crested mix who is about 1 year old and weighs 8 pounds. He has the long soft coat of the powderpuff variety with the traditional freckled skin of a Chinese Crested on his belly. His petite frame and adorable ears make us think he has some Papillon in him also, although the second picture makes him look larger than he really is.
Banjo is a friendly guy who gets along with cats and other dogs. He also gets along with kids and his foster mom says he is an easy dog to take care of. Before he was rescued, he ran around a neighborhood for about a month while being fed by many neighbors, who all thought he was great. He is housebroken and would make a wonderful pet for anyone. | I should not talk about myself like this, but I am a handsome, unique love bug! I'm a Terrier/Shih Tzu mix and weigh approx. 10-12 lbs. I love to be on my human�s lap, and follow my foster mom everywhere! While quite handsome, with my brown nose and soft coat, I have one cloudy eye. (The vet says it because of a healed injury, but I can see out of it and it causes me no pain.) I find it another reason to consider me unique! I have lots of energy. Within one hour at my foster mom�s house, I taught myself how to go in and out the doggie door, another example of my unique talent! I am learning to be housebroken, and some basic commands. Some things I did not need to learn: how to get along with my foster dogs, how to find a soft spot to sleep, and how to snuggle on the lap of my foster mom! I love to play with my foster friends, but I would rather be snuggled on my foster mom�s lap. I am eager to learn: are you willing to teach the unique young man that I am?
